Join us at the beautiful Diversey Harbor on Saturday, May 20, 2017 for the Purple Bucket Run, which includes a timed 5K run/walk & a 1 mile fun run with awards. Following the race will be a PIZZA Party! Buy your pizza tickets online. All race proceeds benefit the HER Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit helping mothers and babies around the word survive potentially life-threatening pregnancy complications! HER is the #1 organization for HG awareness, advocacy, support and research in the world.
The Purple Bucket Run (or walk!) honors the millions of mothers who have experienced a pregnancy with HG, a serious pregnancy disease that too often takes the life of a mother and/or her child, and may cause long-term health issues in both. The HER Foundation is changing that with your support!

Why Run for HER?
Honor a TougHGirl and support HER Foundation Awareness Events by joining the HER Purple Bucket Run (5K & 1 mile fun run) on May 20, 2017 in Chicago or via a virtual run. All proceeds from the race are given to the HER Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit.
With the help of donors and volunteers, HER improves the health and future of many women and babies around the world! Lives are actually saved as women are able to survive their pregnancies. HER provides support and advocacy for 1000's of women, and is the #1 source of information and research on HG. Last year, HER collaborated with leading universities in the US and Australia to publish the first genetic study on HG as well as other important studies on the impact and management of HG. Grants are rarely given for HG research so most studies are solely donor-funded. We need your help because we need answers!
